Remembrance Day Ceremonies

I have to admit it. I have never been to a live Remembrance Day Ceremony. I usually watch the National ceremony on television.

This year was different. The town I live in had a new cenotaph built so it was also an unveiling as well.

It was raining but that didn't stop me from going out. I didn't think there would be many people but I was surprised. There were about 1000 people that showed up to remember our veterans.

The fly past was one of the most amazing things. They flew past twice. The sound of the engines was something to marvel at. Another interesting sound was the sound of the soldiers marching as they walked by. I will never forget that.
